Below are just a few of the many, many testimonials of the 2,000 people I have helped over a 17 year career, I have only included a few as I feel it tacky when the reader is met with a barrage of unsubstantated praise and stories from alleged beneficiaries and I do not beleive in hassling my clients for egotistical self-praise when they have come to get help from me.
As you will see I have included at least five that are provable and substantial. I also receive many referrals from three of Edinburgh's GP Practices (as you will see in FAQ's section) and previous clients who recommend me to their friends, I have treated a wide array of presenting difficulties and that very probably includes what you are experiencing at the moment even although it seems unique to you.

Hi Robin

Just wanted to give you a wee bit feedback after getting hypnotised by you last Wednesday to stop smoking.....

Well I have never smoked since nor been tempted to smoke! Its been great and another plus point is that I haven't been tempted to replace food with cigarettes either so hopefully shouldn't gain weight!

I few of my friends that smoke are hoping to do the same after new year so i will pass on your number to them.

"You asked me to keep in touch so I thought you might like to know that it is now exactly 40 weeks since I last had a cigarette . I've saved roughly £1400 which has nearly paid for our holidays in 5 weeks time.
I still eat chocolate but I am now able to say NO!
And not only did I not put on weight when I stopped smoking I have now lost over a stone.
Along with a couple of my friends, I am in training for the Edinburgh Moonwalk on June 14 and did a 20 mile walk yesterday, in that pouring rain. I'm not sure if any of that would have been acheivable without your help.

Dear Robin,

I came to see you in June 2005 for help with my eating too much chocolate. You hypnotized me to regard chocolate as an occasional treat rather than a major food source and I am pleased to say it worked. In nearly 18 months I have only eaten 3 pieces of chocolate and I wasn't really bothered about them. It's amazing!! No one can beleive that I have stopped eating chocolate because I was never without it. Thanks to you I have saved the money it cost to be hypnotized in the first two weeks by not eating chocolate. I am so happy and it is all thanks to you. Thank you.

"I started suffering from panic attacks, depression and generalised anxiety when I was 23 years old and continued to suffer for 10 years between 1993 and 2003. During this time I visited 3 cognitive therapists, tried accupressure, alternative remedies, read most of the self-help books available on the subject and had been treated with 3 types of anti-depressants prescribed by my GP...the length of illness had left me agoraphobic, on most days meaning arrangements were impossible to make and travel far from the relative safety of home was never considered.

Your world soon becomes very small.

I visited Robin admittedley as a last resort, as I had tried everything else. My GP suggested hypnotherapy and Robin was nearest to home. I won't dwell on Robin's individual programmes of treatment or his ability as a therapist as I hope the results and my testimony will speak for itself.

On December 2004 I flew to New Zealand to be married, I travelled freely and was able to enjoy a 5 week stay. Since returning I have gained promotion at work, stopped smoking and now sing and play guitar in the pubs and clubs of Edinburgh. All the above would have been impossible a short time ago.

I have regained a level of confidence that I thought I'd lost forever. Robin's method of coaching uses a solid foundation for you to build on. It's no fancy "quick fix", he takes time to get to the root of every problem you may have and gives you the methods and the confidence to tackle things head on.
