Anxiety is created by putting self under inordinate pressure to be liked then projecting onto other people the need that they will be.  This demand and inaccurate definition moves control from self to others thereby creating the debilitating symptoms that motivate them to seek therapeutic help.

My concern for many people suffering from anxiety, anger, fear and depression is that because of the intense debilitating symptoms they experience, the person then concludes that the resolution must be very complex, indeed particularly so when they become fearful of the state they are in and add panic and despair.  Faced with this double bind and the almost inevitable anxious introspection, a fear-bewilderment-fear cycle will be created and detrimentally maintained.
