The hypnotherapist will know if a hypnotic state has developed in their client bu certain signs, they are:

Rapid Eye movement, facial colouration goes paler, passivity of movement, occasional motor responses (twitching).  Afterwards the person may report a time distortion where 30 minutes seems like 15.  As the seSsions progress 30 minutes may be experienced as 5 minutes.

Good hypnotherapy is comfortable self-awareness combining an inventory of the assets and problem solving abilities that is unique to the individual.

Visual imaging and mutually agreed suggestions will help the person to indulge in some rapid learning to help resolve their difficulty.
